You pay $39 once. We help you prepare your LLC formation documents through a guided chat. That's the deal — the details are below.

1. What Legit is (and isn't)

Legit is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Legit provides self-help business formation software: guided questions, pre-filled forms, and document generation based on the information you provide. We don't review your situation for legal sufficiency, and nothing here creates an attorney-client relationship. If your situation is complex, talk to a licensed attorney in your state.

2. The Launch Kit — $39 one-time

The $39 covers document preparation: your Articles of Organization draft, Operating Agreement, EIN walkthrough, and bank-account checklist, plus your permanent download vault. State filing fees are separate and are paid directly to your state — we always show the current state fee before you pay us, and that number comes from official state sources, never from our imagination.

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for actually filing your documents with the state. Legit prepares documents; filing with the Secretary of State is your step (we walk you through it). Double-check everything before you file.

4. Refunds

If we haven't generated your documents yet, email [email protected] and we'll refund you, no interrogation. Once your documents are generated and in your vault, the service has been delivered and the $39 is non-refundable.

5. No guarantees

We can't guarantee state processing times, name availability, or that your filing will be accepted — states make those calls. We provide the fee and turnaround data we have in good faith from official sources.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use Legit to file false information with a government, impersonate someone, or form entities for fraud. We'll shut down abusive sessions.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, Legit's total liability is limited to the $39 you paid. We're a $39 document-prep tool, not your general counsel.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; the version in effect when you paid governs your purchase.
